Oliveira Funeral Home

This funeral home offers traditional funerals, burials, cremation services, memorials, viewings and repatriation services for families in Vancouver, British Columbia. The traditional option provides a formal gathering centred on established customs for saying goodbye to a person who has died. This option involves placing a casket in the ground at a cemetery chosen by the family for the final resting place. Cremation provides an alternative to burial that many families select for personal, cultural or practical reasons. A memorial offers a dedicated occasion to remember a life and share stories about the person who died with others who knew them. A viewing gives relatives and friends a quiet opportunity to see the deceased before a funeral takes place. Repatriation assists families with arranging the return of a loved one from another place to a chosen destination. Oliveira Funeral Home can tailor services to match family traditions, ethnic backgrounds, religious preferences or financial circumstances. Those traditions can shape the way a service is planned and carried out for the people involved. Those backgrounds can guide choices that reflect heritage and community ties for families and their wider circle. Those preferences can be respected in the planning and conduct of arrangements for those who hold particular beliefs. Those circumstances can influence the scale and format of arrangements while keeping the focus on dignity and care. It is located in Downtown Port Coquitlam in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Its street address is 2657 Shaughnessy Street.
