Hundred Languages Child Care
About Hundred Languages Child Care
This daycare offers licensed bilingual child care for children in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. The care is provided in two languages, supporting children as they learn and as they express themselves in everyday interactions. Each child is treated as an individual with a personal approach to learning and to expressing ideas and experiences. The setting is intended to help children feel able to use their own style rather than follow a single pattern for every activity. Learning is viewed as something each child does in a way that suits that child. Expressing is also viewed as something each child does in a way that suits that child during the day. Its mission is to empower every child to embrace his or her own style for learning and expressing. Empowerment centres on confidence and choice within the care provided for each attending child. A child is not expected to copy another child's way of taking part when embracing a personal style. The mission applies to every child attending, without exception for a particular learner. Learning and expressing are placed together as central parts of the day, rather than treated as separate concerns. A child who learns in one way and expresses in another way is supported in both respects. The approach values difference between children as a normal part of group care. Hundred Languages Child Care presents this mission as the purpose behind its licensed bilingual daycare work in the community. Care takes place at 12409 Harris Rd #111 in Pitt Meadows. Spaces are available for children who need licensed bilingual child care in British Columbia.
