Hippo Art Studio
About Hippo Art Studio
This studio offers art classes for kids who want to learn through creative activities in a structured class setting. Teens can also join art sessions created specifically for their age group and interests. Adults have their own sessions as well, giving grown participants a chance to learn and create. Instruction takes place in Coquitlam, BC, for learners based in that community. Downtown Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, is the other community served by the studio. Visitors can find the studio at 2099 Lougheed Hwy a117. Hippo Art Studio uses that location for its regular programming and its special events. Children's after-school services form part of the studio's work with younger participants who attend school during the day. Art camp programming is provided during periods set aside for camp activities, giving children an experience centred on art. Pro-D services are also provided as part of the children's programming. Enjoyable paint nights are hosted for participants interested in painting together in a relaxed group setting. Paint and sip nights provide another hosted option for guests to enjoy painting while sipping a drink. Birthday parties are hosted at the studio for celebrants and their guests. DIY workshops are hosted as well, allowing attendees to make projects themselves through hands-on activities.
